Fees and Insurance

In addition to an investment of time, therapy is an emotional and financial investment in you. I believe successful therapy occurs only when both therapist and client make serious investment in this process. Investment in your well-being will not only help you feel and function better in the short term, but will bring about insight and discovery that will benefit you in the long-term.

Payments and Fees

I accept both private and insurance paying clients. Please contact me to inquire about my private pay fee. Payment for therapy is due at the time of service. I accept cash, checks, and credit cards.

I am currently an “in-network” provider with Bluecross Blueshield of Texas. If you are interested in scheduling your first appointment and will be using Bluecross Blueshield, please call the member services number printed on your insurance card and complete the Insurance Verification Form provided under the “Forms” tab on this website. Prior to your initial intake appointment you will need to confirm that your specific Bluecross Blueshield plan will cover outpatient mental health services with my practice.

If you are using a plan on which I am an “out-of-network” provider, you will be expected to pay my fee at the time of service and I will gladly provide you with a receipt of service which you may submit to your insurance company on your own for reimbursement. Be aware that insurance companies do not typically reimburse the full fee for service when working with “out-of-network” providers.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

If you are aware you will not be able to attend your appointment for any reason, please contact me 24 business hours in advance of your appointment time otherwise you will be charged the full amount of the time reserved for you. Insurance companies do not cover missed appointments.
